Na een streng beoordelingsproces is het Rammed Earth House van ZEST Architecture een van de slechts 3 projecten die genomineerd zijn in de categorie Sustainable Building, uit duizenden studio&#8217;s die hebben meegedaan. We zijn er zo trots op dat we een finalist zijn!<\/p>\n<h2>Wat is de Duurzaamheidsprijs van Castilla y Le\u00f3n?<\/h2>\n<p>De Duurzaamheidsprijs van Castilla y Le\u00f3n is een benchmark voor duurzame en innovatieve bouw op regionaal en nationaal niveau. Alleen projecten die innovatief zijn en een bijdrage leveren aan de implementatie van levenscyclus benaderingen en het verminderen van CO2 uitstoot maken een kans. Daarbij kan het gaan om alle typologie\u00ebn, want de prijs heeft categorie\u00ebn voor training, industrie, stadsplanning, infrastructuur, huisvesting en bouw.<\/p>\n<p>Ons Rammed Earth House dingt mee in de categorie Duurzame Gebouwen. Deze categorie is bedoeld om de beste bouwprojecten te belonen, zowel nieuwbouw als renovatie, met extreem goede milieuprestaties. In tegenstelling tot andere prijzen, die soms alleen foto&#8217;s en tekst vereisen, was voor deze prijs de vereiste om de prestaties te boekstaven met uitgebreide technische documentatie. Naast foto&#8217;s van het gehele uitvoeringsproces vroeg men ook alle documentatie rond de bouwvergunning, de volledige constructie-boekhouding (om materialen en hoeveelheden te kunnen controleren), een duurzaamheidsrapport en gedetailleerde CO2 uitstoot-berekening. Met andere woorden, we moesten dus glashard bewijzen dat ons gebouw CO2-neutraal is en duurzaam is gebouwd.
