Desde el a\u00f1o 2001 ha trabajado con diversos arquitectos como Max van\u00a0Aerschot\u00a0en Holanda, y Josep Llu\u00eds Mateo en Espa\u00f1a. Desde el principio, el\u202f enfoque de ZEST ha sido la combinaci\u00f3n de sostenibilidad y elegancia natural, tema fundamental desde el inicio de la carrera profesional de Govers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El estudio dispone de amplios conocimientos sobre el \u201cdise\u00f1o activo\u201d (dise\u00f1ar para minimizar las necesidades de climatizaci\u00f3n) y el \u201cdise\u00f1o integral\u201d (incorporaci\u00f3n desde el anteproyecto de las decisiones sobre la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y la climatizaci\u00f3n). Sus proyectos destacan por la aplicaci\u00f3n de materiales, en muchos casos naturales, tratados de manera minimalista e innovadora. El estado nuevo al terminar la construcci\u00f3n de un edificio, para\u00a0Govers, es solo el primer paso de toda una vida de este edificio; los materiales se eligen y aplican por su \u201cwabi\u00a0sabi\u201d: expresi\u00f3n japonesa que se refiere a la belleza que obtiene un material al ir envejeciendo a lo largo de toda su vida. En 2010, el proyecto para la mezquita \u201cRayo de Luz\u201d, obtuvo el segundo puesto en el Concurso Internacional organizado por la galer\u00eda\u00a0Traffic\u00a0en Dub\u00e1i, el cual buscaba nuevos conceptos para una mezquita. En este proyecto se incorpora por primera vez un mismo acceso para hombres y mujeres, respetando al mismo tiempo la norma musulmana de separaci\u00f3n. Durante estos dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el proyecto ha estado expuesto en varios museos de arte moderno de Alemania, como parte de la exposici\u00f3n \u201cKubus\u00a0oder\u00a0Kuppel\u201d, sobre mezquitas modernas europeas. El proyecto ha sido publicado tambi\u00e9n en diversos libros y revistas sobre recintos religiosos y dise\u00f1o de mezquitas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En el 2014 ZEST\u00a0Architecture\u00a0particip\u00f3 en la Bienal de Venecia\u00a0con\u00a0un instalaci\u00f3n en el Palazzo Mora dentro de la exposici\u00f3n \u201cTime,\u00a0Space\u00a0Existence\u201d, organizada por la Fundaci\u00f3n Global Art\u00a0Affairs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
